Being homeless isn't something we ever want. A warm place to be sheltered in is the ideal scenario for most Americans. However some circumstances can change that. Coming back home after being deployed is one of the many difficulties our veterans face after serving our country. Many carry the stresses, and mental health worries that get feared all the time. However, we found out how we change that. We, a normal citizen, can take at least 1 day out of the month to donate, write letters, and send our thanks to those in the shelters. We can share our food, lend a blanket, and reassure them it'll be alright. For our project, we did such. Ashley and I made one big care package bin for a local shelter and created our own letters and mini journals. We wanted to emphasize that we're there for them no matter their home life.
ART For art, we decided to make handmade journals to add to the care packages. It added a nice touch to make the veterans feel warmhearted. ENGLISH To better persuade our audience, we created a paper emphasizing on why we should be taking further steps in helping out our homeless veterans.
